All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE) has released the BBA Model Curriculum today, i.e. July 12, 2024. The curriculum has been released by AICTE Chairman   Professor T G Sitharam and Vice Chancellor Dr. B.R. Ambedkar University Delhi, Professor Anu Singh at AICTE Head Quarter.

The AICTE Chairman, Professor T.G. Sitharam, inaugurated the Model Curriculum Framework for Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) courses in April 2024. This framework encompasses BBA, BBA Honors, and BBA Honors with Research programs. AICTE appointed an expert committee to develop the curriculum. The committee is headed by Vice Chancellor of Ambedkar University, Delhi, Professor Anu Singh Lather, includes both academic professionals and industry experts to ensure that the comprehensive curriculum adequately prepares students for industry challenges.

Curriculum Designed for Future Leaders

Professor T.G. Sitharam highlighted that the curriculum combines essential management principles with global best practices. To further enhance students' communication skills and familiarize them with current and future industry demands, a mandatory three-week induction program has been introduced. The AICTE aims to prepare students to address global management challenges by the end of the course.

Program Options and Structure

Students can choose between two durations: a three-year program comprising six semesters and a four-year program spanning eight semesters. The three-year program requires completion of 120 credits, while the four-year program requires 160 credits. The course structure is innovatively crafted in line with the National Education Policy.

Degrees Awarded

Upon completion, students will receive a BBA for the three-year program and either a BBA Honors or a BBA Honors with Research degree for the four-year program.
