Many entrance exams are being postponed or deferred due to the Coronavirus lockdown. The Coronavirus pandemic has affected academic session and the schedule of entrance exams too. Amid this, Christ University has decided to conduct the CUET 2020 exam as scheduled on April 14 for Session 1 and April 26 for Session 2 through the Internet-based Online Entrance Test.
Under this arrangement, candidates can apply for CUET 2020 in online mode and appear for the exams from their homes. The Personal Interview (PI) round will also be conducted through Google Meet Video Conferencing. The date and time for the Personal Interview round will be available on the Application Status page on the official website of Christ University. CUET Application Process 2020
The CUET application process includes four steps; CUET application form filling, CUET admit card, Christ University Entrance Exam (CUET) 2020, Personal Interview and Micro Presentation round. Check out these steps in details below.
Step 1: CUET Application Form Filling: Candidates need to apply on the official website of Christ University and fill the CUET application form 2020. Along with filling the details, candidates also need to upload the relevant documents and pay the application fee.
Step 2: CUET Admit Card 2020: After successfully applying for the CUET 2020 exam, applicants can download the CUET admit card on the scheduled date from the official website. However, since the exam this year can be taken from home, the admit card may not be required. The university is yet to clarify on this.
Step 3: Christ University Entrance Test 2020: CUET 2020 is conducted in computer-based test mode (CBT) but, amidst the countrywide lockdown, this year CUET will be conducted through Internet-based online test mode. Applicants can appear for the exam online at their residences. They do not have to visit an exam centre.
Step 4: Personal Interview and Micro Presentation: The candidates who clear the CUET exam can appear for the PI and Micro Presentation round which will be conducted through Google Video Conferencing. The final admission will be based on the marks scored in CUET 2020, PI and MP and academic performance of the applicant.
