IIM Rohtak Announces Major Changes in Seat Intake and IPM Admission Process 2025-30

IIM Rohtak has announced major changes in the seat intake and IPM admission process for the 2025-30 academic year. Read below to know the details. 

In a recent announcement, the Indian Institute of Management, Rohtak (IIM Rohtak) has made changes in the IPM admission process 2025-30 and increased the seat intake for the IPM programme. Earlier, there were 165 seats reserved for the IPM programme, but this year the seats have increased to 198 seats. Out of these, 10% of seats are reserved for the Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) category

Additionally, some new changes have also been made in the IPM admission process 2025-30. The weightage of IPMAT Rohtak scores has changed in the final selection process. This means that how well a candidate performs in the IPMAT Rohtak exam 2025 will play a bigger role in determining their admission. Admission will be given based on merit (rank in the exam) and the availability of seats in different categories (General, SC, ST, NC-OBC, EWS, and DAP) as per the Government of India’s reservation policies. IIM Rohtak IPM Admissions 2025-30

The IIM Rohtak IPMAT admission process 2025-30 is as follows after the changes:

Stage 1: IPMAT Rohtak Registrations 2025

It includes the online registration for the IPMAT Rohtak exam 2025. Candidates who are eligible to apply for the IPMAT Rohtak exam can fill the IPMAT Rohtak application form online. Candidates have to pay a non-refundable fee of INR 4,937 to complete the registration process. 

Stage 2: Taking the IPMAT Rohtak 2025 

Candidates have to take the IPMAT Rohtak 2025 exam on May 5, 2025. The exam will be conducted in a computer-based test mode at 9 AM at various exam centres. Here is the question distribution in the IPMAT Rohtak question paper:

Logical Reasoning 40 40 minutes
Verbal Ability 40 40 minutes

Each question in the IPMAT Rohtak question paper 2025 will carry four marks and one mark will be deducted from the overall score for each incorrect answer marked by the candidate. 

Stage 3: Shortlisting and Personal Interview

The exam conducting authorities will release a list of candidates who have qualified the IPMAT exam and the students will be called for the further selection process which includes the Personal Interview. The announcement of Call for Personal Interviews (PI) will be made in the last week of May 2025. The students will be judged on communication skills, academics and general awareness. The Personal Interviews are expected to be conducted in the first or second week of June 2025. 

Stage 4: Announcement of Selection List

IIM Rohtak will release a final merit list after conducting the Personal Interviews. The composite score of IPMAT Rohtak 2025, Past Academics, and Personal Interview. The final merit list is expected to be announced in the second week of July 2025. Refer to the table below to know the weightage:
