The SET exam application form 2025 is available online. The SET registration form 2025 was released on December 06, 2024. There is no provision to apply offline for the SET exam 2025. The SET application form 2025 will be filled and submitted online on the official website of SET. The digital application and admission process for the SET exam is done through email ID and mobile number. The same email ID and mobile number will be used for all communications regarding the SET exam. Hence, students must ensure that the e-mail address and mobile number provided in the Online SET Exam Application Form are their own or that of their parents/guardians. The students need to provide their number along with their parent/guardian's number as an alternate mobile number. 

There have been no changes in the SET exam pattern and syllabus this year. The exam pattern and syllabus are the same as the previous year. Sessions 1 and 2 of the SET exam 2025 will be conducted in the computer-based test mode or CBT mode. The SET exam will be conducted for one hour from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. The SET syllabus is divided into four sections, i.e. General English, Logical Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude and General Knowledge. 

Typically there is no specific age limit for appearing in the SET exam. The eligibility criteria for SET exam may vary for different courses, but age is generally not a determining factor.

The students who are domiciled in Nagpur for five years or more and have completed Class 12 or equivalent from the Maharashtra Board will have a 25% seat reservation in the SIU colleges. They need to carry the following documents at the time of Personal Interview and WAT rounds to confirm eligibility:

• Domicile certificate issued by the competent authority
• Class 12 mark sheet
• Students appearing for Class 12 boards are also eligible provided they submit a Bonafide certificate from the current institute along with a Class 10 mark sheet

Foreign nationals or international students applying for the SET exam should meet the general eligibility criteria for the SET exam, which means completing Class 12 or an equivalent degree from a recognised board or institution. However, specific undergraduate programmes may have additional requirements, and international students should carefully review the programme-specific SET exam eligibility criteria 2025 to ensure they meet the academic prerequisites.

In addition to the mandatory academic qualifications, international applicants also need to meet other requirements, such as obtaining a student visa to study in India, holding a valid international travel passport and meeting any language proficiency criteria.

The SET exam application fee 2025 can only be paid through online fee payment methods or Demand Draft.

1. Online Payment: The preferred mode of payment for the SET exam application fee is usually online payment, which can be done through Internet banking, debit card, or credit card, UPI or other banking wallets. Students can make the payment using the secure online payment gateway provided on the official website of the SET exam.

2. Demand Draft (DD): The students applying for the SET exam also have the option of paying the SET exam application fee through a Demand Draft (DD). They need to draw a Demand Draft from a nationalised bank in favor of the "Symbiosis Test Secretariat" payable at Pune. They will need to enter the DD details during the application process and submit the physical DD along with the application form to the Symbiosis Test Secretariat at:

SIU gives 5 % reservation within the sanctioned intake for Children/ Wards of Defence Personnel. A student who is interested in applying for the SET exam 2025 under the category “Children/ Wards of Defence Personnel” for any of the programmes offered by SIU through the SET exam, should select the category “Children/ Wards of Defence Personnel” for each programme separately.

Please note: 25% of seats in all the SIU institutes are reserved for students of Nagpur domicile.

The academic eligibility criteria in the SET exam 2025 for the Differently Abled Candidates (DAC) is the same as the eligibility for the other candidates. However, SIU, Pune has made provision of reserving 3% of seats for Differently Abled Category candidates in all the programmes offered by all the SIU colleges. 

Candidates will however be required to acquire an ‘Authentication Certificate’ which will be authenticated by the Medical Board of Symbiosis University Hospital and Research Centre (SUHRC). Once the certificate is authenticated and found to be correct by the Medical Board, SUHRC, his/her eligibility will be certified under the DA category. This category of students is required to upload their Medical Certificate issued by a competent authority at the time of SET exam registration to ascertain the percentage of the disability.

When choosing the SET exam centre, candidates must keep the following instructions in mind:

• During the SET application form filling, students can choose up to three test cities for the SET exam centre allotment.
• The test cities cannot be changed once the SET exam application form 2025 has been submitted.
• The details of the SET test centre will be mentioned on the SET exam admit card along with the date, time, and day of the exam
• Students must note that they will have to visit the test centre which has been allotted to them. They cannot change the centre on the SET exam day. No change requests will be entertained.

Students must note that Symbiosis International University can reject the SET application form 2025 for certain reasons. Hence, they are advised to avoid the following mistakes:

• Use a plain white background for the photograph
• Make sure to upload the images in the prescribed size and formats

Applicants filling the SET exam application form 2025 must ensure that they upload the required documents (photograph and/or signatures) in the prescribed format and size only. The details for the same are given in the table below.

Per test, the SET application fee is INR 2,250. The application fee will not be refunded or transferred even if the student decides not to appear for the exam. In addition to the SET application fee, candidates also have to pay the programme registration fee of INR 1000 for each programme that they wish to apply for. This institute fee will also be non-refundable and non-transferable.

Students can fill the SET registration form 2025 online on the official website of SET. The application form is available online only and there is no provision of applying offline. Follow the steps mentioned below to know how to apply for SET 2025. 

• Open the SET official website in a new web browser

• Click on the 'Apply for SET exam' button or copy the following https://set2025.ishinfosys.com/SET20Y25/Register/Index.aspx

• Click on the 'Register' icon and read the Terms and Conditions and then check the disclaimer box

• Proceed to Part I of the SET exam application process where you need to fill in details such as the name of the applicant, date of birth, mobile number, email ID, etc. 
• Now, upload the photograph of the applicant and choose the preferred test cities
• Verify the registered mobile number through one time password and proceed to pay the SET exam application fee 2025
• In part II of the SET exam registration form, applicants need to fill in the details such as communication address, nationality, and details of parents/guardians, and choose their preferred SET colleges
• To complete the SET exam registration process 2025, applicants need to pay the SET exam institute fee and complete the SET application process by submitting the filled SET exam application form 2025. 

Candidates filling the SET registration form 2025 must keep the following documents ready:

• Scanned recent coloured passport-size photograph

• Class 10 and Class 12 mark sheets

• Date of birth certificate

• Photo ID proof issued by the government of India

• Caste certificate (if applicable)

The SET eligibility criteria 2025 is as follows:

• The candidates must have passed Class 12 or equivalent examination in the relevant stream from a recognised board
• The candidates must have secured at least 50 per cent aggregate in Class 12
• 5% relaxation will be given to candidates belonging to the SC/ST category, i.e. they must have secured at least 45 per cent aggregate in Class 12
• Candidates in Class 12 or who are waiting for the results are also eligible to apply for SET exam provisionally
• Candidates who have completed Class 12 or equivalent from any Foreign Board and have obtained an equivalence certificate from the Association of Indian University (AIU) are also eligible

As mentioned before, the SET exam 2025 will be conducted in as many as 80 test cities. While filling the SET registration form 2025, candidates can choose up to three test cities in the order of preference.

To make payment for the SET exam 2025 through Demand Draft, students should follow the given steps:

• Get a demand draft from any Nationalized Bank in favour of the "Symbiosis Test Secretariat" payable at Pune

• Opt for 'DD Payment' as the mode of payment in the "Make Payment" tab

• Now, take a printout of the payment advice form, fill in the DD Details, sign and send it with the Demand Draft to the Symbiosis Test Secretariat at:

If any student plans to appear for only one session of the SET exam, he/she will have to submit a Demand Draft (DD) of INR 2250/- and if they plan to appear for both sessions then they will have to submit a DD of INR 4500/-. The Symbiosis Test Secretariat will authenticate the details of the Demand Draft received (before 5 PM on April 12, 2025) and will send an email confirming the payment.

Students need to pay the SET application fee 2025 to proceed to part II of the SET registration process 2025. The SET exam application fee can be paid through the following modes of payment:

The SET exam 2025 will be conducted in two batches, i.e. SET test 01 and SET test 02. The exam will be conducted in the computer-based test mode. The exam will be conducted in about 80 test cities in the country. The duration of the exam will be one hour, i.e. from 9:00 AM To 10:00 AM.

Students must keep the following points in mind before filling the SET application form 2025:

• Students applying for the SET exam have to pay INR 1000 for each institute that they select during the SET registration process
• The SET application form will only be accepted by the authorities once the application fee has been paid successfully. 
• An email and SMS will be sent to the student's registered email ID and phone number on successful completion of Part I of the SET 2025 application form, hence, students must use a valid mobile number and email ID. 
• An incomplete SET exam application form will be rejected by the exam conducting officials
• The photograph of the studnet should not be older than four months.
• The allocation of the SET exam centres will be done on a first come first serve basis

The SET exam 2025 application process is completely online and it includes four major steps:
