BFUHS commences Round 1 of online counselling for MBBS, BDS 2021 session

The candidates interested in pursuing MBBS and BDS from Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS), must note that Round 1 of online counselling for MBBS, BDS 2021 session has already started.
As per Round 1 of the online counselling schedule released on the BFUHS official website, choice filling for the first round of online counselling can be done between January 19 to January 24 up to 11:59 pm. Processing of seat allotment is scheduled between January 25 to go January 29, and seat allotment results will be out by up to January 31.
Reporting by candidates to the respective provisionally allotted colleges and deposition of six months tuition fee through University Payment Gateway available on the University website in Student Login is scheduled for February 7, up to 5:00 pm.
BFUHS has also released the instructions for online choice/preference filling. The official notification in this regard says, "During online counselling, candidates shall submit their choices/preferences, of course, college, quota & category. Provisional Seat shall be allocated as per NEET merit and in order of preferences given by the candidate. Therefore, candidates are advised to take proper caution while filling up the order of preferences, of course, college, quota & category. Candidates can submit multiple choices/preferences, of course, college, quota & category. The candidate can Add/Modify (Edit)/Delete choices."
"Candidate will be considered only in the order of preference of quota & choice of college and course filled. Thus candidates should exercise due caution while exercising the option of college/course and order of preference. The candidate shall not be considered in the quota which has not been submitted as a preference. Candidates of reserved categories (who have scored marks equivalent or more than the minimum cut-off of open merit NEET marks) will be considered in open merit first. If the candidate of the reserved category is eligible for open merit, then a seat of open merit will be allocated. The seat of reserve category shall only be allocated only in the category filled at the time of applying the online application form," adds the notification.
