In a bizarre incident, a Bihar University student was awarded 151 marks on a 100 mark paper, at the same time when he was marked as failed in the examination. The student, Anmol Kumar of Mahant Ram Jivan Das College, MRJD College, Begusarai was shocked when he saw his BA Hons. marksheet. He was awarded 151 marks out of 100 in his Political Science paper. What was more surprising was that in spite of getting more marks than the maximum possible marks and a relatively good score in other papers, Anmol was declared Fail. (Check mark sheet).

In another incident, another student from same university but different colleges was given zero in one of his papers. Sonu Kumar of MKS College, Chandauna received a 0 in his Accounting and Finance Paper 2. University, however, has given him a Pass in his marksheet despite having zero marks in one subject.
