Bihar Board Matric Exam 2024: Students making illegal entry to be expelled

Bihar Board Class 10 Exam 2024: Amid the commencement of the BSEB 10th Matric Exam 2024, Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB), Patna has informed its decision to expel Class 10 matric students for two years from appearing in exam if they are found forcefully entering the exam premises after the scheduled entry time. The Board also said that it will take suspension action and file an FIR against such students under the category of criminal trespass. On day 1, Bihar Board expelled 51 students of the Bihar Board Class 12 exams 2024 for using unfair means. It also caught eight persons impersonating the Class 12 students.

According to the official BSEB Exam 2024 timings, the BSEB matric exam 2024 will be conducted in two shifts, i.e., the morning shift will be held from 9:30 am to 12:45 pm and the afternoon shift from 2 pm to 5.15 pm.

The Board has strictly directed students to adhere to the exam timings. Students appearing for the BSEB Matric Exam 2024 in the morning shift must enter the exam hall by 9 am. Similarly, for the afternoon shift, students must enter the exam centre gate by 1:30 pm.

The BSEB Board said, β€œStudents who reach the examination centre later than the scheduled time for admission, by jumping over the boundary wall or attempting to forcefully enter the examination centre will be considered illegal.”

β€œThis is a violation of the board's instructions and falls under the category of Criminal Trespass. Thus, this is a clear attempt to influence the integrity of the examination without any malpractices and is also a criminal act,” it added.

Moreover, if the latecomers are allowed to appear in the Bihar Board Class 10 exam 2024 by the centre superintendent, action will be taken against the identified persons, including suspension and FIR. To prevent such miscreants and unfair means during exams, the board has also made videography arrangements and installed CCTVs at the exam centres to curb malpractices and use of unfair means during the exam.
