Students across the country are eagerly waiting for a final decisions on the upcoming examinations. Central Board of Secondary Education, CBSE and Council for Indian School Certificate Examination, CISCE (ICSE Board) will be announcing their decision on the remaining exam to be conducted in July. This will impact several national level exams, like, JEE Main 2020, NEET 2020, CTET which are scheduled to be conducted in July. Latest Update: CBSE Board Results 2020 by July 15, official notification released

CBSE Board Exams 2020, ICSE Board Exams 2020

CBSE has cancelled CBSE Board has today informed the Supreme Court that the CBSE Class 10th has been cancelled and CBSE Class 12th exam may be conducted once the situation gets better. The exams were scheduled to be conducted from July 1 to July 15, 2020. ICSE Board has also scrapped the exams and mark students based on the internal assemment.

JEE Main 2020, NEET Exams 2020

If the CBSE Board Exams 2020 are scrapped or postponed, there is a high chance that the national level entrance exam -- JEE Main 2020 and NEET 2020, will also be postponed.

The decision will impact more than 20 million students who have registered for the July exams. However, there is no update on the same, however, NTA is expected to announce its final decision tomorrow i.e. June 26, 2020. If JEE Main is postponed, JEE Advanced 2020 would be postponed too.

Final Year University Exams

As per the University Grants Commission (UGC) Guidelines, the final year examinations in the universities are set to begin from July. However, with the rising number of coronavirus cases in the country, the Union Human Resource Development Minister has advised UGC to re-think over the exam guidelines.

A UGC panel has been formed and it is likely that the final year examinations would be cancelled as well. Also, the new academic session may be deferred until October instead of beginning from September.

Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET)

CTET 2020 which was scheduled to be conducted on July 5 is also expected to be postponed. CBSE which conducts the exam has not yet released the admit cards or decision regarding the examination. However, a notice clarifying the exam date is expected to be released by CBSE within this week.
