CBSE Psycho-social Counseling Services

CBSE Board Exam 2025: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is all set to commence its yearly psycho-social counseling services for Class 10 and Class 12 students to support students during the high-stress period of CBSE Board Exams 2025. The counseling initiative, which will begin on February 1, is designed to alleviate the pressures associated with the upcoming exams and ensure the well-being of students.

CBSE Board Exam 2025 Counseling Services Phase One until April 4

Phase one of the CBSE psycho-social counseling for Class 10, 12 CBSE Exams 2025 will run from February 1 to April 4, 2025, coinciding with the board exams. This service will continue to be available after the declaration of CBSE Results 2025, helping students and parents manage stress even after the CBSE 10th 12th Exam 2025. The primary focus of the counseling service during this phase is to assist students as they prepare for the theory exams, which are scheduled to begin on February 15, 2025.

CBSE Counseling Services 2025 Key Features

24×7 Interactive Voice Response System (IVRS)

The CBSE has set up a toll-free 24×7 Interactive Voice Response System (IVRS) at 1800-11-8004 to offer round-the-clock support. Available in both Hindi and English, the IVRS service will provide students with helpful tips for exam preparation, time management, stress reduction techniques, and answers to frequently asked questions related to the exams.

Expert Support from Trained Professionals

In addition to the IVRS service, CBSE has assembled a team of 66 trained professionals, including principals, counselors, special educators, and psychologists, to offer personalized voluntary support to students. These professionals will be available for direct assistance from 9:30 am to 5:30 pm, Monday through Saturday.

International Support Network

The CBSE has also established a network of 51 counselors based in India and an additional 15 counselors located in Nepal, Japan, Qatar, Oman, and the United Arab Emirates. This international support network ensures that students from various parts of the world can access counseling services.

Access to Podcasts and Audio-Visual Content

Students can further benefit from bilingual podcasts and a wide range of video resources available on the official CBSE website (cbse.gov.in). These resources are designed to address topics such as stress management, preparation strategies, and overall mental well-being. These self-help tools will aid students in managing anxiety and maintaining focus throughout their exam preparation.

Encouragement for Students and Parents

In its notification, the CBSE encouraged students and their parents to fully utilize the available resources to ensure a confident, stress-free approach to the 2025 board exams. The initiative is part of the board's commitment to student welfare and aims to make the exam period less overwhelming.
