Raghu Meetei, Deputy Director, Directorate of Technology Development and Innovation (DTDI), ISRO. The event, named EduOdyssey, showcased an enlightening fusion of knowledge and curiosity, leaving an indelible mark on the participants. The focal point of the event was the recent endeavor by ISRO, Chandrayaan-3, which served as a catalyst for EduOdyssey.
During the interaction, students perceived in-depth information about Chandrayaan 3, Vikram Lander’s capability, engine automation of soft landing, and engineering modifications made from Chandrayaan 2 failure. The interaction witnessed a dynamic Fireside Chat ensued between Dr. Sachin Bahmba, CMD of SPACE India. This interactive session served as a platform for students to pose insightful questions, thereby fortifying the event's overarching goal of nurturing a fervor for science, space exploration, and cutting-edge technology among the youth.
