Delhi school gets Bomb Threat; Investigation on

The deadly threat led to the school authorities vacating the whole school immediately.

Bomb Threat in Delhi School: Located in South-west Delhi RK Puram, a private school has received a bomb threat, according to information released by the local police. The deadly threat led to the school authorities vacating the whole school immediately. Various search operations were also launched, the police informed.

"DPS school located in RK Puram, Delhi, received information about a bomb in the morning. At 9 in the morning, information about two bombs was received on the school mail, after which the school administration immediately informed the police about the matter. The police evacuated the school. the investigation is on, till now nothing has been found in the school. Bomb squad and police team are searching. The sender of the mail is being tracked through IP address," the police informed. 

Meanwhile, in September last year, the Lal Bahadur Shastri School in RK Puram received an email about a bomb on the premises that later turned out to be a hoax.

Meanwhile, in May, a similar hoax email about a bomb was received by the Delhi Public School in Mathura Road. The Indian School in Sadiq Nagar received two bomb threats, the last on April 12, 2023, via email. The first one was over the phone in November 2022. However, both turned out to be hoaxes.

With regard to the current hoax bomb threat incident, the police is conducting search operation to find the culprit.
