GSEB Class 10 exams 2021: Students seek cancellation of exams

Students have been seeking cancellation of GSEB Class 10 examinations over COVID surge.

The Gujarat Secondary Education Board (GSEB) has postponed the upcoming Class 10 board examinations. However, due to the rapid surge in COVID cases on a daily basis, students across the state are seeking cancellation of the GSEB 10th exams.

The Gujarat Board Class 10 exams 2021 were earlier scheduled to be conducted from May 5 to 18, 2021. As per the announcement earlier made by the Chief Minister of Gujarat, the GSEB Class 10 Board Exams 2021 and Class 12 exams have been postponed to a later date. The new dates are to be announced on May 15, 2021. 
As soon as the revised GSEB Class 10 Time Table 2021 is released, it will be updated here.

“In the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, Gujarat state government decides to postpone Class 10 and 12 board exams, scheduled to be held between May 10 to 25, 2021, and mass promotion for students of Class 1 to 9 and 11. The new revised dates will be announced after reviewing the coronavirus situation on May 15," read the official announcement on Gujarat Class 10 Board Exams 2021.

Many Class 10 board examinations including CBSE, CGBSE, Maharashtra SSC, PSEB 10th, JKBOSE 10th, among others have been cancelled due to a huge spike in coronavirus cases across the country. India recorded as many as 3.32 lakh cases with 2,247 more deaths on April 22, 2021.
