GSEB SSC Results 2020 declared! The Gujarat Board released the GSEB SSC Results 2020 today i.e. June 9, 2020, at 6 am. While the official time of the release of the GSEB 10th Results 2020 was 8 am but going by the trend the Board declared the GSEB Class 10 Board Results on its official website. GSEB SSC Exam 2020 was conducted from March 5 to March 17. As many as 10.83 lakh students appeared for the GSEB 10th Board Examinations this year. The GSEB 10th pass percentage 2020 is recorded at 60.64%. Of the total 10.83 lakh students, 8.40 lakh were regular students and 2.25 lakh were students who were repeating the examination this year. GSEB SSC topper 2020 scored 94.66% marks. The pass percentage among male students is 56.53% and among female students is 66.02%.

According to the official statement released by the Gujarat Board, the date of the scorecard or marksheet distribution of the students who appeared for the GSEB Class 10 Board Exams 2020 will be announced on a later date on the official website. Students can check the GSEB SSC results 2020 through the official website, gseb.org, using their roll number mentioned on the GSEB 10th Admit Card 2020. The GSEB, in a notification released on June 8, said: “The secondary Class 10 result and Sanskrit result will be announced on 9 June at 8 am on the website. The date of distribution of scorecard will be announced later on the website.”

GSEB SSC Results 2020 Highlights 

  • GSEB SSC Exam 2020 was conducted from March 5 to March 17.
  • GSEB declared GSEB 10th Results 2020 today i.e. on June 9, 2020, at 6:00 am.
  • Of the total 10.83 lakh students, 8.40 lakh were regular students and 2.25 lakh were students who were repeating the examination this year.
  • The GSEB 10th pass percentage 2020 is recorded at 60.64%.
  • GSEB SSC topper 2020 scored 94.66% marks.
  • The pass percentage among male students and female students is 56.53% and 66.02% respectively. 
  • A total of 1,671 students scored the A1 grade.
  • The highest number of students, 1,59,108 students scored C1 grade.
  • There are 23,754 students who scored A2 grade.
  • The number of students in the D grade doubled from the last year. This year close to 14000 students scored D grade.
  • Surat district has topped the chart with 94.66 percent and Ahmedabad with 64.91 percent followed by Rajkot with 64.08 percent.

GSEB SSC Results 2020 Qualifying Marks

According to GSEB rules, a candidate must obtain a minimum of grade 'D' in all subjects to qualify. Candidates who have obtained grade 'E1' or 'E2' only in the subjects will have to improve their performance through subsequent attempts and qualify. The passing standard for a differently-abled candidate is 20%.

According to the GSEB SSC Date Sheet 2020, the GSEB SSC board exams 2020 were held between March 5 and March 17. In 2019, the GSEB SSC Results 2020 were declared on May 21 but this year, the Gujarat Board got delayed in declaring the GSEB 10th Results 2020 due to the novel coronavirus outbreak in the country followed by the nationwide lockdown imposed by the Government of India on March 25. The board already declared the GSEB HSC Science results 2020 on May 21. The Gujarat Board declared GSEB HSC Class 12 science Results 2020 first, followed by the GSEB SSC Results 2020. However, the reports suggest that GSEB HSC Results 2020 for the general stream will be declared by the end of June.

GSEB SSC Results 2020 Marksheet Distribution

GSEB SSC Results 2020 marksheet distribution will take place later. As done in the case of GSEB 12th Science Stream Results 2020, for GSEB SSC results 2020 as well Gujarat Board has not specified any date for the distribution of marksheets among the students. The details about the distribution of original physical copies of GSEB 10th marksheets via schools will be notified by the board at a later date.

Gujarat Board will release the GSEB Class 10th Results 2020 on its official website. Students can check their GSEB class 10 results 2020 following the steps mentioned below

Step 1: Visit the official website of Gujarat Board i.e. http://www.gseb.org/

Step 2: On the homepage, click on the link that reads ‘Class 10th SSC Results 2020’

Step 3: A new page with input fields will open

Step 4: Enter the seat number

Step 5: Verify the details and click on the Submit button

Step 6: The GSEB 10th Result 2020 will be displayed on the screen

How to check GSEB SSC Result 2020 via SMS

Students can also check their Gujarat Board 10th Result 2020 via SMS. For the same, they can follow the steps mentioned below:

  • Open SMS application on your mobile phone
  • Type an SMS in the following format: SSCSeatNumber.
  • Send it to 56263.
  • GSEB SSC result 2020 will be sent as an SMS on the same number.

Students must note that the GSEB 10th Results 2020 available online or via SMS is for informational purposes only. Students are advised to collect the GSEB 10th original marksheet and passing certificate from their respective school offices.

After the declaration of the GSEB SSC Results 2020 if any student is not satisfied with his/her marks then s/he can apply for GSEB SSC re-evaluation. The state will release the official dates of registration for revaluation 15 days after the announcement of GSEB SSC Result 2020. Topper gets 96.3% (578 OUT OF 600) PERCENTILE RANK : 99.99 check this roll no.: B8307386

Urs relative daughter might have get 94.83 percentile but the topper had get 94.66 percentage
