Haryana government has decided to promote all students from class 1 to 10 without any examination. According to Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar, no students would be detained in any class and would be promoted without any examinations.

Haryana government has decided to promote all students from class 1 to 10 without any examination. According to Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar, no students would be detained in any class and would be promoted without any examinations. In the wake of lockdown due to coronavirus pandemic, schools have been closed. According to the chief minister, the students of class 10 would be promoted for the next class on the basis of average marks obtained in subjects for which exams have already been taken. The exam for the science subject has not been held yet.

Likewise, the class 11 students will be promoted to class 12 based on the exams already held. Apart from this, the examination of mathematics has not taken place yet. Once the situation gets normal, the exam for the maths subject will be held. The chief minister further informed that students would be able to enroll in the next class as soon as the school reopens. A decision of class 12 is yet to be taken by the NCERT.

Talking about the COVID-19, the deadly pandemic has so far infected more than half a million individuals across the globe. More than 50,000 people across the globe have lost their lives due to the pandemic. As far as India is concerned, the number of patients infected from coronavirus has reached past the tally of 5,000. As of now, more than 120 patients have lost their lives in India. Furthermore, the UP state government has announced that it will continue the lockdown in several parts of the state for two more weeks.
