Karnataka 2nd PUC Exams 2023: The Department of Pre-University Examinations is all set to commence the Karnataka 2nd PUC Exams 2023 from today, March 9, 2023. Candidates who have registered for PUC 2nd Karnataka Exams 2023 can check exam day guidelines, admit card details below. According to the official schedule, the Karnataka 2nd PUC exams will be conducted between March 9 and March 29, 2023.
Free buses for Karnataka 2nd PUC students
Karnataka 2nd PUC students must note that the government has declared them eligible to avail free bus rides under the BMTC for the duration of their exams. The bus services will be available on all days of exams. Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corporation, BMTC had already announced that it will offer free bus services to ferry students. Using the buses, students can commute from their residences to respective colleges. In order to avail these rides for free, students have to show their Karnataka 2nd PUC hall tickets to the conductor.
Hijab not allowed inside Karnataka 2nd PUC exam centre
Ahead of exams, Karnataka Education Minister, BC Nagesh stated that female students not allowed to wear their hijabs in the exam centres. In the previous year PUC Exams, many students had not appeared for their PUC II Exam as they were not allowed to appear for the exam. The minister clarified that the students have been strictly told to write exams in uniform and hijab does not count as uniform. Those who will appear at exam centre wearing hijab will not be allowed to take exams.
Check exam day guidelines for Karnataka 2nd PUC Exam 2023
- Karnataka 2nd PUC Hall Ticket is mandatory to appear for the PUC exams. Students should make sure to read all the instructions mentioned on it very carefully.
- Students must note that carrying a printout of Karnataka 2nd PUC admit card to exam hall is mandatory. They should also carry school ID card to exam hall. No student would be allowed to appear for exam without the same.
- Students must appear for the exams in their respective school uniforms.
- Students will not be allowed to take exam in Hijab.
- Report the exam well before the reporting time to avoid last minute rush.
- Candidates should use only blue ballpoint pen to write exams.
- Candidates are advised to write neatly and leave 2-3 lines before starting the new answer.
- Students are advised not to waste time on long answers at first and complete objective-type questions at first.
