MP Government has warned Strict legal action will be taken against those who make misleading and fake papers viral
In a proactive measure against the dissemination of misleading and fake question papers for board pattern examinations, the Madhya Pradesh Cyber Police, in collaboration with the State Education Center, has launched a crackdown on individuals spreading misinformation on social media platforms.
Recently, there has been a surge in the circulation of counterfeit question papers for classes 5th to 8th examinations conducted by the School Education Department in Madhya Pradesh. These fraudulent activities, orchestrated by certain anti-social elements, aim to deceive students and parents by offering purported exam papers for personal gain.
The Evaluation Controller of the State Education Center, H.G. Khare, has taken decisive action by filing a First Information Report (FIR) with the Police Commissioner, Cyber Crime Office, Bhopal. This move underscores the seriousness with which the authorities are addressing the issue, which not only compromises the integrity of examinations but also misleads and demoralizes students.
Director of the State Education Center, Mr. Dhanaraju S, emphasized the adverse effects of such deceitful practices on students' morale and urged both students and parents to refrain from succumbing to such temptations. He cautioned that apart from financial losses, individuals involved in spreading fake papers could face criminal charges and potential misuse of personal information.
