The National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) has released the NIOS 2020 date sheets for Classes 10th, 12th for all the examinations that were earlier postponed due to COVID-19 outbreak.  

As per the revised NIOS 10th date sheet, the examinations for NIOS 10th will begin from July 17, 2020, with Hindustani Music and conclude on August 11, 2020, with Emplyobility Skills and Carnatic Sangeet subjects. While, according to NIOS 12th date sheet 2020, the NIOS 12th examinations will begin from July 17, 2020, with Physics, History and conclude with Tourism on August 13, 2020. The examinations for NIOS 10th and 12th will begin at 2:30 pm for all the subjects.

Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank released the NIOS 10th, 12th date sheets 2020 on Twitter on Sunday, May 31, 2020.

Earlier, the NIOS had released the NIOS timetable 2020 for classes 10 and 12 on its official website. NIOS 12th date sheet 2020 for Arts, Commerce, and Science streams was released on February 5, 2020, according to which the NIOS 12th examinations were to commence from March 24 and continue until April 24, 2020. The NIOS 10th examinations were also scheduled between March 24 and April 24, 2020. But, the examinations were postponed until "further notice" through a notification dated March 18, 2020.
