The OBE agencies have also received instruction to share the examination schedule well in advance with the concerned Regional Directors, so that necessary arrangements for monitoring of examination can be done by the Regional Centres, NIOS.
NIOS OBE agencies have been directed to conduct the examination from March 1, 2022, to March 31, 2022, for Level-A (equivalent to Class 3), Level-B (equivalent to Class 5) & Level-C (equivalent to Class 8) for the Academic Session 2021. The official notice released by the authorities reads, “In pursuance of the approval of the Competent Authority, Open Basic Education (OBE) agencies are directed to conduct the examination from 01" March 2022 to 31" March 2022 for level-A (equivalent to Class 3), Level-8 (equivalent to Class 5) and Level-C (equivalent to Class 8) for the Academic Session 2021.”
Stating that the agencies have received instructions to release the official schedule as soon as possible, the notice further adds, “The OBE agencies are also instructed to share the Date sheet of examination well in advance with the concerned Regional Directors, so that necessary arrangements for monitoring of examination can be done by the Regional Centres, NIOS. The marks of internal & External examination will be uploaded at NIOS Portal on daily basis by the Accredited Agencies (AAs). No offline awards will be accepted.”
All the Regional Directors are requested to upload the Notification for OBE Exam at the Regional Centre website, inform all AAs and also issue a press release in the local dailies, the notification informed.
The Accredited Agencies have also been directed to strictly follow the COVID-19 guidelines issued by the health ministry during the conduct of examination and the concerned Regional Director must ensure the same. Wearing masks, using sanitizer and following social distancing would be a must.
