Education Minister informed that Class X and XII students see a 64% and 66% improvement in Board exam results, respectively, marking a significant boost in academic achievements.

Indiaโ€™s school education system has experienced impressive growth under the current government, with key reforms focused on OBC reservation, female empowerment in teaching, and boosting student performance. Union Minister for Education, Shri Dharmendra Pradhan, highlighted that OBC representation in Navodaya Vidyalayas has reached 38.83%, female teachers have increased by 30%, and the performance of students in board exams has surged, with a 64% rise in Class X and a 66% rise in Class XII students scoring higher grades. These advancements are fostering greater equity and excellence in India's education landscape.

India's school education system has experienced remarkable growth and transformation over the past decade, driven by a focus on infrastructure, technology, and inclusive education. Addressing a press conference in New Delhi, Union Minister for Education, Dharmendra Pradhan, shared key milestones in the sector, including the generation of over 7 crore APAAR IDs (Automated Permanent Academic Account Registry) to track the progress of every child and monitor learning outcomes.

This initiative aims to ensure that students across the country are uniquely identified and their educational journey is effectively monitored. With a significant focus on improving learning outcomes, the government has implemented technology-driven interventions to ensure more accurate data and informed decision-making in education.

Key Highlights of Indiaโ€™s Education Progress:

  1. Unprecedented Growth in School Infrastructure:
    The government has made significant improvements in school facilities, with access to electricity rising from 53% to 91.8%, and internet access increasing from 7.3% to 53.9%. Other upgrades include drinking water access (98.3%), handwashing facilities (94.7%), and ramps for differently-abled students (77.1%).
  2. Focus on Female Empowerment in Education:
    Female representation in the teaching workforce has surged by over 30% since 2014. Over 61% of teachers recruited between 2014 and 2024 are women, outnumbering male teachers for the first time.
  3. Improved Student Performance:
    There has been a significant rise in student performance, with a 64% increase in Class X students scoring higher grades and a 66% increase in Class XII students performing better in board exams.
  4. Technological Advancements in Education:
    Over 7 crore APAAR IDs have been generated for monitoring student progress, enhancing the quality of learning through data-driven decision-making. The government has also set up 32 Vidya Samiksha Kendras to improve learning outcomes.
  5. Expansion of Vocational Education:
    The number of schools offering vocational education courses has increased from 960 in 2014 to 29,342 in 2024, with student enrollment in skill education surging from 58,720 to over 30.8 lakh.
  6. Significant Investment in Mid-Day Meals:
    The government's allocation to the PM POSHAN Scheme has grown by over โ‚น1.04 lakh crore from 2014 to 2024, ensuring that every child has access to nutritious meals, with a revision in meal costs to further support the scheme.
  7. Multilingual Education Initiatives:
    The government has prioritized linguistic diversity with textbooks for Classes 1 and 2 now available in 23 Indian languages, and multilingual e-content developed in 126 languages on the DIKSHA platform.

This holistic approach to education reform aims to make India's schools hubs of learning, opportunity, and empowerment, ensuring that every child is equipped with the skills and resources to succeed.

Science students try for b. Tech for which you need to have already appeared for entrance. If you did not then try to get in DUBAI, MU colleges with grade 12 score into BSc. You may also try physics honors, math honors etc. And in case you are interested in commerce or humanities, these options are still open for you

Q: ย  How many subjects should be included while calculating class 12th CBSE board percentage?

A:
In aggregate, all five subjects' marks are calculated. If you want admission in a particular field in a particular college then maybe they will check your score in 4 subjects (English + 3 Subjects of Commerce or Science). Also, if you have Physical Education and some good awards(State or National) with you then you can be admitted through Sports Quota based on your performance in Sports. All the best.

Q: ย  Will I clear the CBSE board exams 2025 if I obtain 33 percent in theory but not in practicals separately?

A:

No. It is necessary that you score a minimum of 33 percent in practical and theory exams separately. In case you're unable to score the minimum marks either in theory or practicals even when the total aggregate is 33 percent, you won't be considered pass.
