Rashtriya Military School Admission 2025-26: Rashtriya Military School (RMS) has commenced the application process for admissions to Class 6 and Class 9 for the academic year 2025-26. Interested candidates can apply for RMS Class 6 and 9 admissions through the official RMS website at [rashtriyamilitaryschools.edu.in](http://rashtriyamilitaryschools.edu.in). It must be noted that the last date to apply for Rashtriya Military School Admission 2024 is until September 19, 2024.

RMS Admissions 2025 Important Dates and Selection Criteria

The examination dates for the admission tests will be announced on the official website soon. Candidates will be selected based on their performance in the admission test and interview. Admission will be granted based on merit, seat availability, medical fitness, and adherence to reservation policies.

RMS Admissions 2025 Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for RMS Class 6, applicants (both boys and girls) must be aged between 10 and 12 years as of March 31, 2025. For Class 9, candidates must be between 13 and 15 years old as of the same date. It is important to note that all selected students will be required to board at the school; day students are not permitted.

Reservation Policy Details

RMS has a detailed reservation policy for admissions:

- 70% of Seats: Reserved for children of serving and retired Junior Commissioned Officers (JCOs) and Other Ranks (OR) from the Army, Navy, and Air Force.

- 30% of Seats: Allocated for children of serving or retired Officers from the Army, Navy, and Air Force, as well as civilians.

- Category Reservations:

  - 27% for OBC (Non-creamy layer)

  - 15% for SC

  - 7.5% for ST

- Special Seats: 50 seats (with a maximum of 15 per school) are reserved for the children of personnel killed in action.

- Female Candidates: 10% of the seats or up to 30 vacancies (across all five schools) are reserved for female candidates in both Classes 6 and 9.
