State Award to Teacher 2024: Assam Government to honor THESE 13 Teachers on Sep 5

The awards will be presented by Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on September 5, 2024, during the Teachers' Day celebrations. The ceremony will take place at the Rangghar Auditorium, Dibrugarh University, starting at 11 AM.

In a prestigious recognition of educational excellence, 13 teachers from Assam have been selected for the State Award to Teacher 2024. The awards will be presented by Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on September 5, 2024, during the Teachers' Day celebrations. The ceremony will take place at the Rangghar Auditorium, Dibrugarh University, starting at 11 AM. Awardees have been instructed to report at the venue by 8 AM. Two family members are allowed to accompany each teacher to the event.

  - Prasanta Kumar Mahanta, Borholla Higher Secondary School (Secondary)

Tinsukia:

  - Minu Rani Borah, Chengamari High School (Secondary)

Biswanath:

  - Ripunjay Bordoloi, Puthimari Higher Secondary School (Secondary)

Kamrup:

  - Hiren Kumar Das, Khonakhokora High School (Secondary)

Sivasagar:

  - Gakul Chutia, Matikhola MV School (Elementary)

  - Lohit Chetia, 18 No Kathpar LP School (Elementary)

Cachar:

State Education Minister Ranoj Pegu expressed his congratulations to the awardees via a post on X, stating, “Congratulations to the State Teacher Awardees of 2024.
