WBBSE Board Exam 2024: The West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBSE) has asked all the head examiners of Madhyamik Class 10 board exams 2024 to submit the marks online to enhance efficiency.
The existing method include submitting WB Class 10 marks through ICR, OMR marks foils. Submission of marks online is an additional method to make the process efficient. “We understand that transitioning to a new system may pose challenges, which is why it is encouraged to seek assistance from the scrutineers. You can enlist the support of 4 to 5 scrutineers suitable in helping you to navigate the online marks submission process effectively in due time,” the board said.
Last year, particle introduction of online verification was done by the board. Now, for WBBSE Board Exam 2024, the authority is taking a step forward to streamline the submission procedure. According to the official WBBSE Routine 2024, WB Class 10 Madhyamik board exam 2024 was held from February 2 to 12 at various exam centres.

Additionally, “as a token of appreciation for your cooperation and effort in adapting to the new system, a consolidated honorarium of Rs 500 will be paid by the Board at the time of payment of remuneration to the Head Examiners, subject to completion of respective online submission of marks”.
Maintain security during evaluation
In December 2023, the Board has instructed the officials to preserve the CCTV footage of every day till the declaration of WB Class 10 board exam results 2024.
To make the WBBSE Board Exam 2024 evaluation process highly secure, the state board has issued guidelines to maintain highest standards of security and confidentiality in handling the allotted packets of written answer scripts. Safe handling during transit, secure storage, confidentiality, non-evaluation of answer sheets in public spaces, time-bound submission are the measures suggested by the board.
