West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBSE) has released the exam schedule for West Bengal Madhyamik Pariksha 2021 on the official website. The examinations will be conducted from June 1 to June 10. Check detailed exam routine below

WBBSE released the West Bengal Madhyamik Routine 2021 for the students studying in Class 10th. The exam scheduled was released on December 26 on the official website for both, regular and external students. The WB madhyamik examinations 2021 will begin on June 1 with First language subject. The last examination will be conducted on June 10, 2021 for optional elective subjects.

The examination will be held for only one paper each day. The timings of the exam is 11:45 am to 3:00 pm. Students will be given first 15 minutes to read the question paper thoroughly. The detailed WB Madhyamik routine 2021 is as under:

The Board will announce the dates for the Physical education and Social service & work education later.

The subjects included in First Languages are:

  • Bengali
  • English
  • Gujarati
  • Hindi
  • Modern Tibetan
  • Nepali
  • Odia
  • Punjabi
  • Telugu
  • Tamil
  • Urdu
  • Santali

The subjects included in Second Languages are:

  • English, if any language other than English is offered as first language
  • Bengali or Nepali, if English is the first language

 

Other important points mentioned in the notification are:

  • Examination in Shorthand & Typewriting will be held at Kolkata and Siliguri only. The date and venue for the same will be announced later.
  • Examination in Sewing & Needle Work will be of four hours and fifteen minutes duration
  • Examination in Music Vocal & Instrumental will be of two hours and fifteen minutes duration for theoretical portion. The venue, date and timings of the practical exams will be announced later. These will be held in Kolkata, Burdwan and North Bengal regions only.
  • Computer application examination will be of two hours and forty five minutes for theory. Practical for this subject will be conducted by individual schools.
  • The duration for theory portion of vocational subjects (under NSQF project) will be of one hour forty five minutes. Practical exam for these subjects will be taken by the Sector Skill Council or individual schools.
