CAT 2022 exam day is approaching soon. Candidates are still awaiting IIM Bangalore to release the exam pattern.
CAT 2022 exam pattern is expected to be the same as last year. However, the test takers are eagerly awaiting formal announcement of the pattern. Once the official CAT mock test releases, the doubts about CAT exam pattern will be cleared as the mock test is a replica of the actual exam. So, whatever is the structure of mock test, will be of the CAT 2022 exam too.
Normally, the CAT conducting institute releases CAT mock test along with the admit card but since last year, the mock test is release after issuance of the CAT admit card. The CAT 2022 admit card was released on October 27 so it is expected that the CAT mock test 2022 will be released in the coming days.
CAT 2022 will be conducted on November 27 in three shifts. So far, it is known that every shift will be of 2 hours with 40 minutes of sectional time-limit per section. The question paper will have three sections in the following sequence:
- VARC
- DILR
- Quantitative Aptitude
Last year, the total number of questions was 66 and prior to that, it was 76. This year, it may be possible that the CAT goes back to 76 questions. So, it is extremely important for candidates to know for sure what is the CAT exam pattern much before the exam day.
