Commerce College conducts campus placement drive
A total of 144 students participated in the placement drive and 26 students were selected to receive a conditional offer letter from NIIT. The selected students will undergo one-month of online training before getting absorbed as Relationship Managers by ICICI Bank.
Government SPMR College of Commerce conducted an open campus placement drive organized by the Manodarpan Career Counseling Cell in collaboration with NIIT-IFBI for the post of Relationship Manager in ICICI Bank with a salary of INR 2.45-3.1 lakh/annum for students who have completed their graduation and those who are in final year of the College.
Dr Surinder Kumar, Principal of the College spoke on the importance to understand the pros and cons of banking careers and the need to develop skills for different type of banking career paths available.
Professor Archana Kaul, Convener apprised the aspiring participants to develop their requisite skills and prepare themselves to the ever-increasing demands of the job market so as to seize the opportunities available.
Professor Barbara Kaul, HOD, Commerce also spoke on the occasion. A team of experts comprising of Rahul Sharma, Head NIIT-IFBI; Shakun Sharma, Coordinator and Diksha Thakur interacted and interviewed the students.
