The meritorious students of the 2023 batch were also applauded for their exceptional performance, especially in the face of rising uncertainties and disruptive transformations in the management sector.

Fortune Institute of International Business(FIIB) honoured the achievements of its graduating batch of 2023 during the 27th Annual Convocation Ceremony. The meritorious students of the 2023 batch were also applauded for their exceptional performance, especially in the face of rising uncertainties and disruptive transformations in the management sector. The ceremony also realised the students' brilliance from the PGDM-FM course, where Poonam was awarded the President Gold Medal and Sanjay Kumar was conferred with the President Silver Medal.

The medal recipients from the PGDM course included-:

  • Radhika Bhatnagar: RK Shrivastava All-Rounder Award
  • Ritika Biyani: President Gold Medal
  • Abhinav Agarwal: President Silver Medal, Area Topper in Marketing
  • Aditi Gupta: Area Topper in Finance
  • Asha: Area Topper in OB & HR
  • Iris Garg: Area Topper in Operations Management

The preeminent gathering at the ceremony included distinguished guests such as Professor Rajive Kumar, Member Secretary of All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), who was felicitated as the guest of honour, and  Rohit Kapoor, CEO of Swiggy - Food Marketplace, who graced the occasion.

Professor Kumar insisted on focusing more on Indian case studies in business projects. As NEP 2020 emphasises teacher training, ATAL Academy, AICTE Training And Learning, has successfully conducted three lac plus teacher training in thrust areas such as AI, Blockchain, 3D Printing, Quantum mechanics, and many new-age topics. The AICTE Member Secretary also invited FIIB to collaborate on such initiatives.

The occasion further witnessed the presence of FIIB's accomplished alumni,  Mohit Gupta, Vice President of EEMEA (East Europe, Middle East & Africa), at Mastercard.

Furthermore, imparting essential managerial tips to students, Rohit Kapoor, CEO of Swiggy - Food Marketplace, discussed how we could prepare for changing times by being passionate about learning and exploring things, being careful about information, and thinking critically. He insisted on reading books, which is still the most effective learning method. He further highlighted that following past patterns will not make you successful but only mediocre.

Congratulating the budding managers, Radhika Srivastava, Executive Director of FIIB, said, "The 27th Annual Convocation Ceremony honours a significant milestone for FIIB as we continue to build on our legacy of excellence in management education. We believe in nurturing professionals who possess strong managerial skills and incorporate ethical values and social responsibility. We are proud of the accomplishments of our graduates and remain committed to delivering them with the best opportunities to carve a distinctive reputation in their careers.''
