GITAM signs MoU to advance Cyber Security Research and Education

GITAM (Deemed to be University) and cybersecurity company Ashtaksha Labs have collaborated by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) under a strategic alliance that aims to accelerate advancements in cybersecurity research, education, and innovation.

The partnership will focus on collaborative research initiatives, faculty development programs, student internships, and the creation of cutting-edge cybersecurity solutions. It aims to bridge the academic-industrial divide, providing students with real-world exposure and equipping them with the skills necessary to combat contemporary cyber threats.

An official statement released by the varsity stated, “As our increasingly interconnected world becomes more and more vulnerable to cyber threats, this partnership serves as a strategic move to stay ahead of emerging challenges in cybersecurity. It promises to be a win-win situation, where academia gains from the industry's practical insights, and the industry benefits from academia's research capabilities.”
