GIM Placements 2023: Goa Institute of Management (GIM) is conducting placements drive for students of Postgraduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) programmes. According to the institute, the highest salary package bagged by a PGDM student is INR 55 lakh per annum. The average CTC for the PGDM programme in the ongoing placement process currently stands at INR 14.66 LPA.
Bagging half a crore package during GIM Placements, Harshita Banthia emerged as the star of the recruitment drive. Harshita Banthia has bagged INR 55 lakh salary package with Microsoft. She has worked with an international bank as a software development engineer in Pune before joining GIM.
“She completed her engineering in computer science from a college in Chhattisgarh, where she lives with her family. In order to hone her management skills, she moved out of her job and prepared for MBA Entrance exams online. She scored amazingly well in her CAT exams, and applied to multiple institutes,” read an official statement from GIM.
The highest and average CTC earned by the students in Big Data Analytics (BDA) Programme stood at INR 40.2 LPA and INR 17.2 LPA, respectively. Similarly, INR 29 lakh salary package was bagged by a student in the Healthcare Management (HCM) programme with an average CTC standing at INR 16 lakh. Moreover, the highest CTC for Banking, Insurance, and Financial Services (BIFS) Programme is INR 27 lakh and average CTC is INR 14.2 LPA.
