IIM Ahmedabad's PGP-FABM Batch of 2022-24 Achieves 100% Placement Success
Leading Companies Across Various Sectors Recruit Talent from the Food & Agribusiness Management Programme
The Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIMA) has announced successful completion of the final placement process for its Post-Graduate Programme in Food & Agribusiness Management (PGP-FABM) batch of 2022-24. Despite the challenges posed by the job market, the institute's rigorous academic curriculum and robust placement process ensured that all students were placed within a single day of the hybrid placement drive.
Prof. Ankur Sinha, Chairperson of Placements, commended the high-quality learning experience provided by the institute and the flexibility of the placement process, which contributed to its seamless execution. He expressed gratitude to the recruiters for their trust in IIMA's students and brand.
The final placements witnessed participation from a diverse array of companies spanning various sectors, including Agri-inputs, Agri-Tech, Consulting, Conglomerates, Food Processing, FMCG, Beverages, Environment, and Energy. Reliance Industries Limited and Grant Thornton Bharat emerged as the top recruiters, reaffirming their commitment to nurturing talent in the food and agribusiness domain.
In addition to regular recruiters such as Accenture, Ernst & Young (EY), United Breweries, Godrej Agrovet, and Nestle, several new companies displayed keen interest in the PGP-FABM batch. Notable among these were Adani Gau Life Sciences, HyFun Foods, The Palladium Group, and TRST01, underscoring the program's growing appeal among industry giants.
The successful placement outcomes highlight the strong industry demand for skilled professionals in the food and agribusiness sector, reflecting the relevance and effectiveness of IIMA's specialized management programme. As the students prepare to embark on their professional journeys with leading organizations, IIM Ahmedabad remains committed to fostering excellence and innovation in food and agribusiness management education.
