The collaboration allows for the incorporation of practical knowledge into the curriculum. This provides students with global perspectives from industry practitioners. Students have access to course materials and resources such as practise questions, mock tests, and the CFA programme curriculum at all three levels.

Indian Institute of Management Lucknow (IIM Lucknow) has collaborated with the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Institute University recognition program. This affiliation will focus on its objective of developing capable leaders via high-caliber management education for success in the investment management business. The programme is intended to prepare IIM Lucknow students for CFA designation. The Institute’s curricula include academic courses which are 70 percent aligned with the CFA programme Candidate Body of Knowledge. Furthermore, it focuses on the concepts found in the CFA Institute Code of Ethics and Standards of Practise.

The collaboration allows for the incorporation of practical knowledge into the curriculum. This provides students with global perspectives from industry practitioners. Students have access to course materials and resources such as practise questions, mock tests, and the CFA programme curriculum at all three levels.

Recently, IIM Lucknow also hosted the launch event for the CFA Institute University Affiliation Program, where Arati Porwal, country head, CFA Institute, as the chief guest. She said, “This partnership will significantly enhance the talent pool crucial for driving growth in the investment management industry and our country’s economy.”

The affiliation programme recognises chosen academic institutions to promote ethics-based investing education in university degree programmes designed to prepare investment professionals. Ajay Garg, dean of faculty at IIM Lucknow, said "The collaboration with the CFA Institute reaffirms our commitment to nurturing future-ready leaders in investment management, emphasising excellence.”

Eligible students may be reentitled to grants and fee waivers for the CFA programme. Students can improve their employability and are expected to attract global opportunities after completing the degree.
