IIM Trichy invites applications for library trainee; Apply by June 24

The last date to submit the application form for the IIM Trichy library trainee post is by June 24, 2022.

IIM-Trichy Recruitment 2022: Learning Resource Center, Indian Institute Management (IIM) Tiruchirappalli has invited applications for the vacant posts of four Library trainees. Candidates interested in IIM-Trichy Recruitment 2022 must note that the post is available for a period of one year.

IIM Trichy has commenced the application process for this scheme with the objective to provide hands-on training to qualified Library and Information Sciences postgraduates to help them find a career in the libraries of larger institutes. The stipend will be given to the selected candidates for the post of library trainees. A consolidated stipend of INR 15,000/- per month will be given to each selected apprentice during the period.

IIM Trichy Library Trainee: Eligibility Criteria

Candidates applying for the post of Library Trainee at IIM Trichy must hold a Master’s Degree in Library and Information Science. Candidate must have basic knowledge of computer. Previous working experience is desirable. Preference will be given to applicants with previous work experience in relevant fields. The upper age limit for applying for the post of Library trainee would be 28 years as on May 24, 2022. Relaxation is available within the age limit as per government rules for candidates belonging to SC/ST and other special categories.

Selection Process

The selection of the candidates would be through a written test followed by an interview. Application form with necessary documents must reach ‘Chief Administrative Officer I/c., Indian Institute of Management Tiruchirappalli, Pudukottai Main Road, Chinna Sooriyur Village, Tiruchirappalli, Tamilnadu-620024’. The last date to submit the application form is by June 24, 2022.
