IMS Ghaziabad organizes short term training program on CMIE Prowess Database

IMS Ghaziabad organized a Short Term Training Program (STTP) on “CMIE Prowess Database” under the leadership of Director, Dr Urvashi Makkar for its PGDM learners of Batch 2021-23 and 2022-24. The unique initiative having a weightage of 1 credit was conceptualized for the skill development & corporate readiness of budding professionals, the institute stated in an official statement.
The Expert Resource Speakers for the session were Rajeev Ranjan, Assistant Vice President, Education and Research, Centre for Monitoring Indian Economy (CMIE); Sudarshan Negi, Business Relationship Manager, CMIE and Pratima Dua, Business Relationship Manager, CMIE. Speaking on the occasion, Dr Urvashi Makkar highlighted the significance of the session in providing an understanding to the learners on the unique quality databases and search features of CMIE Prowess which in turn would strengthen their research work by providing an accelerated access to critical information.
The experts presented in-depth, industry-specific content in a simplified, clutter-free format. They deftly tracked the developments in diverse domains such as technology, media, telecom, pharmaceuticals, automobiles, finance, economy etc. thus unraveling the hidden trends and issues that are shaping the world. Coordinated by Dr Ajay Patel and Dr Laxmi Pandey, the training program empowered the learners to be able to extract structured information related to the financial performance of around 53000 Indian listed, unlisted and private companies for informed decision making.
