CAT 2021 Result Out Likely Today

New Delhi: CAT 2021 result announcement can be expected today. Going by previous years’ trend, the CAT result may be announced today by 4:00 PM. Exact date of result announcement has not been notified by IIM Ahmedabad yet. CAT 2022 result will be announced by the institute on the exam website with the scorecard download link being activated. The CAT exam result is usually announced in the morning by 9:00 AM but last year it was announced at 4:00 PM.
Candidates, who appeared for CAT 2021 exam, will be able to download their scorecards by using their login credentials. About 1.92 lakh candidates appeared for it from across India. According to the CAT 2021 exam analysis, the question paper was of moderate difficulty level thus the CAT cut offs are expected to be same as last year.

How to Download CAT 2021 Result cum Scorecard?

The CAT 2021 result will be released in online mode only. Candidates will receive an SMS notifying the release of scorecards. Check the steps below for CAT result download:

Candidates who have smart phones can check their result on their mobile phone as well. They need to follow the below mentioned process:

• Open a web browser on the smart phone
• Enter iimcat.ac.in
• Go to ‘CAT 2021 scorecard download’ tab
• Enter application number and password
• Click on CAT 2021 scorecard to view your result

• There is no AIR ranking in CAT. Candidates who score the highest percentile (99.99 to 100) are considered CAT toppers.

• Most of the CAT toppers or 100 percentilers are from Engineering and Technical background.
• Two of the 100 percentilers for CAT 2020 are Aashish Sen and Aaryan Kapoor.

What After CAT Result 2021?

The IIMs will begin shortlisting of candidates for WAT and PI soon after the CAT result announcement. Each IIM will activate the shortlist window on their website for candidates to apply for participating in the second round of IIM admission i.e. WAT-PI. Candidates who meet the qualifying cut off will be eligible to apply. The application window will remain open for a week or so and the WAT-PI will be conducted between February and April 2022.
