All Schools affiliated to CBSE may celebrate 12 January 2022 as “National Youth Day” and “Birth Anniversary of Swami Vivekananda” through online/offline mode, CBSE said.
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) in its latest notification asked the affiliated schools to celebrate “National Youth Day” and the “Birth Anniversary of Swami Vivekananda” on January 12 in online or offline mode. The notice released by the Board reads, “All Schools affiliated to CBSE may celebrate 12 January 2022 as “National Youth Day” and “Birth Anniversary of Swami Vivekananda” through online/offline mode.”
CBSE in its notice asked the school heads to organize special assemblies, debates or speeches and cultural programmes dedicated to Swami Vivekananda on the occasion.
“Wearing of masks, following physical distancing and maintaining of hand hygiene may be strictly ensured while organizing the program in physical mode,” the CBSE notification further added.
“Please disseminate the information about the proposed celebration of National Youth Day among Parents, Students and Teachers for maximum participation,” the notice said.
The 25th National Youth Festival will be inaugurated and addressed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on January 12. The Prime Minister’s office has urged the youth across the country to share innovative ideas and suggestions for the Prime Minister's speech on the occasion. Unique and innovative ideas could get a chance to be included in the Prime Minister’s speech at the 25th National Youth Festival.
On January 13, 2022, a National Youth Summit will be organized. An immersive and interactive approach will be used to organize the submit with an aim to bring diverse cultures of India and integrate them into a united thread of 'Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat', it further said.
