CENTAC releases fee structure for PG medical courses; invites online application

CENTAC has released the fee structure for postgraduate medical courses and dental courses and also invited online applications for admission into PG medical courses.

The Centralised Admission Committee (CENTAC) has invited online applications for admission to postgraduate medical courses. The coordinator of CENTAC has invited the applications for PG medical courses under Government / All India (Management Quota seats). The invitation was opened on October 2 and the last date for online submission of applications is October 18, 6 pm. CENTAC has also released the revised fee structure for the dental and PG medical courses.

Revised Fee Structure Details

CENTAC statement reads, "The Fee Committee under the Chairmanship of Hon'ble Justice N. Authinathan, Judge (Retd.) Hon'ble High Court of Madras vide proceedings dated 18.02.2019 has revised the fee structure for Post Graduate Medical and Dental Courses for the years 2019-2020, 2020-2021 and 2021-22."

  • The students pursuing PG medical Clinical education through government quota seats in Sri Venkateshwara Medical College and Hospital, Puducherry, Sri Manakula Vinayagar College & Hospital, Puducherry, and Pondicherry Institute of Medical Sciences will have to pay INR 7,59,000 and for management quota seat, the fee is INR 22,77,000.
  • For PG Medical Non-Clinical degree, the fee for government quota seats is INR 6,22,000 and for management quota students it is INR 12,44,000.
  • For Dental Para Clinical students, the fee is INR 5,53,000 for the government quota seats and for management quota seats, the fee is INR 7,19,000.
  • The fees for pursuing PG Dental Clinical education in government quota seats in Mahe Institute of Dental Sciences is INR 6,22,000 and for management quota seats, it is INR 14,00,000.
