Class 11 and 12 students interested in applying for the course can apply for free virtual courses until March 31 at ciet.nic.in/swayam-moocs.

The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) in its latest notification released on Monday, January 24 informed the class 11 and Class 12 students regarding the enrolment to the National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) Study Webs of Active Learning for Young Aspiring Mind (SWAYAM) online courses. Online courses are being offered by NCERT on eleven subjects- Accountancy, Business Studies, Biology, Chemistry, Economics, Geography, Mathematics, Physics, Psychology, English and Sociology. Class 11 and 12 students interested in applying for the course can apply for free virtual courses until March 31 at ciet.nic.in/swayam-moocs.

Candidates must note that the online course is being conducted from December 20. The authorities would conclude the conduct of the courses on May 31. CISCE in its official notice said, "In the current cycle, NCERT is offering 28 MOOCs across 11 subjects for students of classes XI and XII from December 20, 2021, to May 31, 2022. The enrollment for the courses is open till March 31.”

Along with the notice, CISCE has also attached the NCERT MOOCs flyer consisting of course details and clickable links for the information page. The notice further informed that considering the ongoing scenario of COVID-19 and the increasing number of novel coronavirus cases, these online courses can support continuous learning of students in virtual mode. Students can get more details on the course from the official website, i.e. swayam.gov.in.

Earlier, CISCE released a notice encouraging students, teachers and parents to participate in Pariksha Pe Charcha 2022. PPC will be conducted by PM Narendra Modi where he will interact with students and answer queries related to exams.
