Brainware University placement for 2020 batch records 97% recruitment

More than 500 companies became a part of Brainware University Placement Drive 2020. While 97% of the total students received overwhelming offers, the minimum annual salary offered during the placement drive was INR 2.16 LPA.

Brainware University Placements 2021: Brainware University, Kolkata successfully concluded its placement for the 2020 batch across all streams, amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. Despite the economic slowdown due to the pandemic situation, the University managed to record 97% placement. Talking about the consistently high placement records registered year on year, Brainware University authority said, “For the 2021 outgoing batch our target is an audacious 100%” placement record.” Brainware University placement report suggests that in the internal assessment, Brainware University had witnessed an overall performance improvement of 78% selection of deserving candidates from 2019 to 97% in 2020.

During the placement drive, the top 3 streams that registered student selection records were BSc in Computer Science, Master of Hardware and Networking (currently known as MSc Advanced Networking and Cyber Security) and BCom, Brainware University informed. In the students’ placement section, the university registered 62% placement of eligible candidates in 2019 to 78% in 2020. The top three streams registering good student placement records were B.Sc in Computer Science, Master of Hardware and Networking and BA Hons. Multimedia and Web (currently known as BSc Animation and Multimedia).

The placement drive witnessed the participation of 600 students. More than 500 companies became a part of Brainware University Placement Drive 2020. While 97% of the total students received overwhelming offers, the minimum annual salary offered during the placement drive was INR 2.16 LPA. The median annual salary offered was INR 2.64 LPA and the average annual salary offered was INR 3 LPA

In order to help students prepare for the recruitment drive, Brainware University arranged virtual interview preparation, digital repository and students’ concern addressal for the placement drive during the lockdown period. The top recruiters of Brainware University placements were Justdial, AI Workspace, Lodestone, Genpact, Tata Consultancy Services, Concentrix, Cognizant Technology Solutions, Wipro, Infosys and Indus Net Technologies.
