"An FIR has also been registered at the Lohamandi Police Station against the unknown persons in this regard," Superintendent of Police (City) Vikas Kumar said. Ajay Taneja, Pro-Vice-Chancellor of the University while speaking on the same said that BSc second and third-year exams for Zoology and Mathematics were scheduled from 11.30 am on Wednesday. "But the proctorial board members of the Agra college witnessed just 45 minutes before the exam of the Zoology and Mathematics that some students were sitting in groups in front of Agra College, busy with their mobile phones," he said as reported by TimesNow.
He further said that the proctorial board members then confiscated the mobile phones of the students and the question papers on the mobile phones of students were tallied with the actual ones. When tallied it was found that they had question papers of the Zoology and Mathematics of the BSc third year. Soon after that, the board meeting was conducted in which it was decided to cancel the exams, he added. The Principal of Agra College was informed, who in turn informed the examination controller and officials of Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar University. The district administration and police were also informed.
"A committee has been formed to investigate the case. We will lodge an FIR in this regard," Taneja said.
