GGSIPU Admissions 2023: Guru Gobind Indraprastha University has extended the last date to submit the online application for admission to various courses offered by the varsity. Candidates can now apply until May 7, 2023. Earlier, the last date to apply was April 30, 2023.
"The extension has been given for all programmes, including merit-based programmes, those for which admissions are based on national-level examinations, and those for which the varsity will conduct its own entrance tests," the University said in a statement.
Earlier, the University said that it will consider the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) score for admission to some courses, however, scores obtained in the university entrance examinations will be given preference. Meanwhile, the varsity has also urged the aspirants to register for entrance test to be conducted by the varsity to get better chances of admission.
University officials said that "CUET scores would be considered for 17 undergraduate and 13 postgraduate programmes. But CUET will be given second preference after the university’s entrance tests popularly known as CET."
“The university will conduct computer-based entrance tests for admission to 83 academic programmes in eight cities in the country, including Delhi-NCR. The application, entrance test and counselling will be in online mode. The syllabus for all entrance examinations is provided in the academic brochure, and students are advised to go through the website regularly for updates,” Dr Mahesh Verma, vice-chancellor of the university, had said earlier.
