Lucknow University Admissions 2021: The undergraduate admission process for the academic year 2021-22 at Lucknow University likely to begin from March 9. This is for the first time in the history that the Lucknow University has appointed Dean Admission to take care of the admission process. Professor VK Sharma from the Chemistry department has been appointed as the Dean Admission.
The first meeting was held on Tuesday, regarding the admission, at Lucknow University. Dean Admission, along with other team members attended the meeting. Along with Prof Sharma, other appointed members are Prof Anood Kumar Bhatiya from the social work department, Prof Anitya Gaurav from the ancient Indian history department, and assistant professor Sanjay Medhavi were part of the meeting.

As per the meeting agenda, the committee first collect the data on the number of course and seats offered in each department. The priority was given to complete the PhD admission of the last academic session. All the departments was asked to provide the seat status on priority.
Lucknow University admission process will be conducted through online mode owing to ongoing COVID-19 crisis. After the Undergraduate, admission for other courses will be followed systematically.
During the meeting it was also discusses that the committee will create a detailed plan on the admission procedure for 2021-22 academic sessions. This year Lucknow University is looking at an increase in the number of intakes compared to the last year.
