Interested institutions may apply for Jamia Hamdard's NAAC Margdarshan Programme by applying on the Google form. The intent for Margadarshan - Quality Promotion Initiative by NAAC Handholding and Mentoring for Rural, Urban, Semi-urban and Accreditation aspirant HEIs.

Jamia Hamdard has invited intent for participation from institutes for NAAC Margdarshan Programme.

NAAC has launched the Margadarshan scheme for mentoring and handholding to accreditation aspirant institutions to improve and in still Quality Assurance in Higher Education which is reflected in the vision of NAAC.  

The scheme aims to bring all aspirant Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) into the fold of NAAC accreditation through handholding and mentoring. It is hoped that this scheme will help the HEIs to prepare for the revised process of assessment and accreditation. NAAC has established Mentor-Mentee cell for the purpose to guide and facilitate the HEI benefited under this scheme.

Eligibility for NAAC Margdarshan Programme

The following are the eligibility criteria for the HEIs:

  • Mentee: Any eligible HEI as per NAAC guidelines aspiring for accreditation can be a mentee. 
  • Higher Education Institutes (HEIs), with a record of at least two batches of students graduated, or been in existence for six years, whichever is earlier, are eligible to apply for the process of Assessment and Accreditation(A&A) of NAAC. 
  • Mentee HEI should not have gone for NAAC accreditation earlier and wish to apply for first cycle.

The NAAC functions through its General Council (GC) and Executive Committee (EC) comprising educational administrators, policymakers and senior academicians from a cross-section of Indian higher education system. The Chairperson of the UGC is the President of the GC of the NAAC, the Chairperson of the EC is an eminent academician nominated by the President of GC (NAAC).
