The Institute of Engineering and Technology (IET), Lucknow, has released a tentative schedule for regular and carry-over exams of odd semester 2021-22.

The institute, which is affiliated with Dr Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU), Lucknow, will hold these exams in the offline mode. The exams will be held for undergraduate and postgraduate courses. Students are advised to check the exam date notification on the official website of IET Lucknow, www.ietlucknow.ac.in. As per the notification, the detailed examination schedule will be notified shortly.

The institute has also notified that the last date to fill the examination form for odd semester examination 2021-22 has been extended to December 15, 2021.

AKTU had earlier released an official notice regarding odd semester for the academic session 2021-22, as per which the examination form of both regular and carry-over examinations of the odd semesters can be filled through ERP. The university also notified that the attendance of the students should be uploaded on AMS, otherwise they would not be allowed to fill the application form.

However, a large section of students are demanding the university to either postpone exams or conduct them in online mode in view of the Omicron variant of Coronavirus surfacing in various states of the country. Students fear the contagion and are urging authorities to conduct online exams. They even took to Twitter to express their concerns regarding the conduction of AKTU exams in offline mode amid the Covid-19 pandemic.
