“Almost all colleges and PG departments of the university have been brought under the purview of N-list (national library and information services infrastructure for scholarly content) to make easy access to research materials online. The university has fixed a nominal INR 5,000 as a membership fee for this portal for each college, he said, adding the university will thus gradually store its own data for preserving research contents to assist the research scholars in the days to come,” he said.

"He directed the college principals to ensure that invigilators were alert on duty and fill in the proforma related to examinations carefully. Unfair means will not be allowed in the examinations. Examination centres should maintain transparency while conducting the exams peacefully,” the VC said.
PPU examination controller Prof Mahesh Mandal said "The PPU has become the only university in the state so far to begin degree part I examinations from Thursday as announced earlier to maintain its new academic calendar beginning from July this year. The university will declare part I results in June at any cost. No examinee was expelled from any of the 42 centres during the first and the second sitting of the exams held on Thursday."
