Pondicherry University: Application submission deadline for foreign students extended to July 31

Pondicherry University has extended the last date to submit the application form by foreign students to July 31, 2023, from the earlier deadline of June 23, 2023.

Pondicherry University has notified that now the last date to submit the application forms for various courses by foreign students is July 31, 2023.

"Submission of online application for admission of Foreign Student to various programmes in Pondicherry University for the academic year 2023-24 has been extended. Last date of receipt of online application : 31.07.2023," reads the tweet by PondicherryUniversityVC.

The university has invited applications through online from the eligible NRI and overseas candidates for admission to Post-Graduate / Integrated Post-Graduate & Ph.D. Programmes that include M.A./M.Sc./M.Com./MCA/M.Tech./MBA/M.Lib.I.Sc. (Master of Library and Information Science) / M.Ed. / M.P.Ed./ MSW (Master of Social Work) / MPA (Drama & Theatre Arts) / LLM, five-year integrated PG Programmes, PG Diploma Programmes, and PhD Programmes. 

The application fee for NRI and Overseas Candidates is INR 9000/- and for SAARC Country candidates is INR 4500/-. 

Distance Education Programs at Pondicherry University

Admissions are also open for distance education programs at the official site - dde.pondiuni.edu.in. The last date to apply is August 31, 2023.

PG Programmes offered are (i) MA English (ii) MA Sociology (iii) MA Hindi and (iv) M. Com (Finance). The annual fee is INR 7425. Directorate of Distance Education, Pondicherry University, a Central University, R.V. Nagar, Kalapet, Puducherry-605 014, has invited applications for BCom, BBA, BA (History), BA (English), BA (Economics), BA (Sociology), BA (Political Science) and BA (Journalism and Mass Communication). The annual fee is INR 4975.
