TNAU Admissions 2023: Tamil Nadu Agricultural University (TNAU) will hold a spot admission on February 2 and February 3 to fill up 1,186 seats lying vacant with the private affiliated colleges. TNAU conducted spot admission on January 24 as well. 

On January 24, the university conducted spot admission as well. A TNAU official said "while a significant number of seats were filled up in the first round of spot admission, 1,186 seats are still to be filled."

"Another round of spot admission will be conducted in a week if the seats were not filled," he said. Candidates should be physically available for the spot admission. Candidates who had applied but have not attended the counselling or certificate verification can also take part, the university said.

"Upon confirmation of seats, SC/ST candidates should pay a counselling fee of INR 1,500 while others should pay INR 3,000. The annual fee will be between INR 40,000 and INR 50,000," he said.

Community-wise vacancies, details of candidates called for counselling and the schedule of counselling will be published on tnau.ucanapply.com. Candidates can call 0422-6611345 or mail to ugadmissions@tnau.ac.in. 

TNAU has received a total of 2,036 applications for the admissions into diploma courses for the academic year 2022-23. TNAU is offering three diploma programmes -- agriculture, horticulture, and agriculture engineering -- through its private and government-affiliated and constituent colleges.
