VU Admissions 2020: Vikram University (VU) has announced the introduction of the Bachelor of Journalism & Mass Communication (BJMC) course from the current session. The varsity also informed that graduates from any faculty will be able to apply for this course. According to the official statement released by the University, the duration of the BJMC course by Vikram University is one year. Interested candidates must note that the course is open for candidates from any field. Following the launch of the new course, an official from the varsity talked about the advantages of the BJMC course stating that in the present era, mass communication is expanding as a very important mode.
According to proctor Shailendra Kumar Sharma, Vikram University, there are many employment opportunities in Bachelor of Journalism and Mass Communication courses. Prominent career opportunities that come after the completion of the BJMC course are journalism, public relations, electronic media, web journalism, advertising, radio, social media, news agency, news website, production house, news channel, Prasar Bharati, publication design, photography, film making, etc. Furthermore, after pursuing mass communication students can also take up freelancing. Students desirous of entering the course starting at School of Studies in Hindi must note that the last date to apply online is January 7. The course is being launched with 30 seats.
