Vels Institute of Science, Technology & Advanced Studies (VISTAS) Chennai commenced the admission application process for the full-time LLB, Integrated LLB (Hons) and LLM programmes. Candidates interested in VISTAS Admissions 2021 must note that the institute will offer admissions based on the Vels entrance exam and marks obtained by the candidates in the qualifying exam. The application forms for the programme have been released on its official website. Candidates can fill and submit the application form in both online and offline mode. No applications will be accepted without the deposition of the application fee. The application fee is Rs 1,000 for all candidates.
Admission will be offered on merit basis. Candidates will be selected based on their percentage in the qualifying exam and the score obtained in the Vels entrance exam. The institute will release the schedule for the entrance exam later. After the entrance test, a WAT (Writing Ability Test) and a Personality Interaction (PI) will also be conducted.
VISTAS Admissions 2021: Eligibility criteria
Interested applicants are advised to go through the eligibility criteria before applying. For Integrated LLB, applicant must have passed 10+2 or its equivalent as per the BCI norms. For a three-year LLB, the candidate must have an undergraduate degree from a recognized university as per the BCI norms. Meanwhile, for LLM, candidate must have completed three-year LLB or Integrated LLB from a recognized university as per the BCI norms.
