Rising COVID-19 cases across the country including the National Capital is raising alarming concerns among schools and parents. The situation has prompted the institutions to come up with online classes and recorded lectures for those not well as health experts are against school closures.
#CovidIsNotOver: Amid the rising cases of the novel coronavirus, all educational institutes in Temkemaiyung Rural Municipality in the Bhojpur district have been directed to remain shut. The school closure that lasts a week beginning Tuesday took place following the detection of the deadly virus in teachers and students, said the rural municipality.
In a day, the rural municipality recorded the highest 55 infection cases among students and staff members.
Until Tuesday, 58 COVID-19 cases have been recorded in the district, according to the health office, Bhojpur. The authorities have decided to reopen educational institutions depending upon the situation of the virus.
Delhi schools seek preventive measures

The health experts are of the view that there is a need to reinforce COVID-appropriate behaviour, something which the elders and the younger cohort are not adhering to. As a result, school managements are bringing measures such as sending recorded lectures to students who are ill, allowing online classes for those in isolation and putting study tours on hold, according to NDTV report.
No need to panic!
Stating that most of the cases are mild ones, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Tuesday said that there was no need to panic and the city government was keeping a close watch on the situation. According to Dr Anil Sachdev, Director of the Paediatrics Intensive Care at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, children are at an increased risk due to coronavirus and seasonal illnesses.
