According to the announcement made by Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia, 85 per cent of Delhi government school students have been vaccinated against COVID-19.
COVID-19 Vaccination Drive for Students: Administration of the second dose of COVID-19 vaccine for the age group of 15 to 18 years is all set to commence from today. The inoculation drive for adolescents in this age group commenced on January 3. There are approximately 10.14 lakh beneficiaries falling in this age group in Delhi. Reports suggest that the first dose of vaccine has been administered to nearly 8,04,690 beneficiaries. As per the guidelines released by the Union Health Ministry, Covaxin is the only vaccine option available for the 15 to 18 year age group.

Passing a remark on the development of the vaccination process in private schools, the minister said that the process is going on at a snail's pace.
Madhya Pradesh to administer 2nd dose of COVID-19 vaccine to Children
Madhya Pradesh is all set to commence the inoculation process of the second dose of COVID-19 vaccines to eligible children in the 15-18 age group from January 31, 2022. National Health Mission director Priyanka Das in an official statement said that letters have been written to all the district collectors in MP in this regard.
All the eligible persons from the 15-18 age group will be given the second dose of COVID-19 vaccines. Das said 36.42 lakh eligible children from this age group had received the first dose of vaccines against the target of 48 lakh.
She further informed that vaccination camps have been arranged for the second jab for the eligible teens, where the first dose was administered. The second dose will be inoculated with the help of on-the-spot registration. "Those who have completed 28 days after getting the first dose will be eligible for the second dose," she said.
