Earlier, CM Yogi Adityanath led government decided to keep all these educational institutions closed until January 23, 2022. However, seeing no major improvement in the situation, this closure has been extended. 

The government of Uttar Pradesh has decided to continue the suspension of offline classes in UP Schools, Colleges until January 30. The decision has been taken due to a spike in COVID-19 cases. Avnish Kumar Awasthi, Additional Chief Secretary of the state made the announcement of the extension of closure of UP Schools, Colleges today, i.e. on January 22, 2022.

Earlier, CM Yogi Adityanath led government decided to keep all these educational institutions closed until January 23, 2022. However, seeing no major improvement in the situation, this closure has been extended. 

The conduct of online classes would continue in Uttar Pradesh Schools, Colleges. There will be no change in the mode of teaching and everyone is advised to stay indoors and not go to their educational institutions under any circumstances. 

Meanwhile, UP Board 10th, 12th students are eagerly waiting for an official announcement regarding UP Board Exams 2022. The authorities have not issued any clarity on whether the board exams will be conducted online or offline. As of now, Uttar Pradesh Board has not made any official announcement on the same. 

Rising Uttar Pradesh COVID-19 cases are scaring many people over the last few days. According to the latest data, in the last 24 hours, Uttar Pradesh state has reported over 18,000 fresh novel coronavirus cases and the number of cases are going high almost every day since the last week. Alongside this, the government is continuing with children's vaccination as well as following the orders of the union health department. Vaccination camps are being set up for children between the age group of 15 years to 18 years.
